NORMANDICAT

17-05-2023

900km endurance event around Normandy, France, attended by approximately 50 riders.

It took me 63 hours to complete the loop, as a solo rider.
I rode all day and all night long, with only taking power naps there and there (I also stopped way too often to take pictures…).

The temperature at night was barely above 0°C, which made riding extremely difficult because stopping wasn’t an option in order to avoid hypothermia, but falling asleep on the bike (sometimes making me almost lose control of it) and starting to have hallucinations wasn’t great either…

But in the end, it was a tough but great experience, with beautiful landscapes everywhere.

Real time from start to finish: 63 hours.
